In order to process each energy switch, we collect your name, email address, phone number and address and may collect payment details and other details (including your energy usage, related information and your preferences in respect of energy supply) to process the switch.

These details allow us and suppliers to contact you about a potential switch in supplier and any other information which we believe may interest you.

Information we collect about you

When you visit our site we may automatically collect the following information:

  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform; and

Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, order fulfillment, payment detail processing and support service provision. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing and/or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
